It is also valued as a relatively low-maintenance houseplant, a fast-growing statement plant, and an air purifier that helps improve indoor air quality.

Germination Guide
- These are expensive and rare seeds so please take your time!
- Prepare a light, fertiliser free compost mix - ideally 50:50 mix of coco coir & vermiculite
- Soak seeds overnight in a small bowl of water with a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide if you have it - this is optional but H2O2 helps soften the seed coat & also kills any fungus or bacteria on the seed coat
- Fill pots with the compost mix, moist but not wet
- Keeping the soil warm helps speed up germination (like 75-80F).
- Sow seeds individually around 3cm deep and cover
- Place pots on a heated tray or reptile heat mat (very cheap) to maintain temperature of 24-28c
- Lightly cover the pots but leave some air holes for ventilation
- Ensure does not dry out
- Germination can take 7 to 21 days depending on conditions
- Once sprouted, remove any cover
- Once plants have several true leaves a quarter strength liquid feed can be added
- Basic care for monstera is just bright, indirect light & water when dry.
- Don't use heavy potting soil that holds a lot of water, they like chunky well drained potting soil.

nice color and fit
I bought the Laurel Green Large
Fit: Fit as expected. The large is a nice fit for me at 5'4" and 140-145 lbs (depending on the week). I prefer a loose or relaxed fit rather than form-fitting/slim and that's what I have in the large. It doesn't hang or billow, sleeves don't go down too far, but it moves nicely and is quite comfortable.
Feel: the fabric feels nice on the skin and is cool on the skin as well. We're in the lowe 40s here now, so hard to say how it will feel in the summer. The fabric itself will feel cool but breathability in muggy summer will have to wait to test
Look: the laurel green is a very nice, very pleasant subtle color which I like a lot. I also like the little design touches--the cuffed sleeves, the covered buttons. It has some weight to it so it hangs nicely and the weight combined with fabric makes it less prone to wrinkles
quality: all looks good. Clean crisp design, not mis-aligned stitching, frayed/hanging threads, etc. Buttons all button cleanly.
